Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, brought his “Oriadé Royal Night” concert to a temporary halt after allegedly spotting a fan disrespecting a member of his team.

The incident occurred on August 11, 2026, at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, where the singer was performing as part of an early showcase for tracks from his newly released album, Oriadé.

With the music stopped, Davido turned his attention to an audience member and issued a stern warning over the alleged incident.

“You’re not going to come to my show and disrespect my staff like that,” the Grammy-nominated singer said while pointing into the crowd.

“If I see you here one more time, I’m going to walk off the stage,” he added.

Davido also reminded the audience that members of his crew had worked throughout the day to make the concert possible.

“These people have been working here all day. Don’t do that,” he said.

A video of the incident, which has since circulated widely on social media, showed the singer visibly angry as he addressed the audience member.

His decision to interrupt the performance and publicly defend his staff has attracted attention online, with many social media users reacting to his firm stance.

The exact circumstances surrounding the alleged disrespect remain unclear, and it was not immediately known whether the fan was removed from the venue.
