A video circulating on social media has shown a man wearing AMBO T-shirt allegedly sharing cash with a group of women.
In the video, which has gone viral on Thursday, the young man wearing the T-shirt was seen handing N1,000 notes to the women.
The development comes as the All Progressives Congress holds a mega rally in Osogbo, the state capital, in support of its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, days before the August 15, 2026, governorship election.
At the rally, Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, said the APC remained committed to peace, urging voters to use their ballots rather than resort to violence.
“Let’s be clear, we are a party of peace, which is why we are called progressive. The only ink we need is the black ink for you to put your thumbprint on, not anybody’s blood,” Oshiomhole said.
Also speaking, Senate President Godswill Akpabio charged Oyebamiji to focus on transforming Osun State if elected governor.
“You must transform Osun State. As soon as you are elected on Saturday, once you are sworn in, you must begin the progressive movement,” Akpabio said.
“You must show the people that what they need is dividends of democracy; they don’t need social media.”
The video comes amid heightened political activities and concerns over inducement, intimidation and violence in the build-up to Saturday’s poll.
