‘You cannot erase my experiences’ — Fola Tinubu speaks on Lizzy Anjorin

Fola Tinubu, the former wife of Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin’s husband, has spoken out over what she described as years of bullying, threats and emotional distress, saying she will not be intimidated into silence.

Fola, a mother of four, made the claims in a lengthy Instagram post in which she recounted events following her former husband’s marriage to Anjorin in 2020.

She said she learnt about the marriage online when her second child was barely three months old and claimed she struggled to reach her former husband when she needed his support.

Fola also alleged that she faced online attacks, threats involving N10 million and pressure that forced her to leave an apartment her former husband had rented for her.

She further claimed that Anjorin questioned the paternity of her children.

On the DNA testing dispute, Fola said she took legal steps but claimed her former husband did not attend the process as she had expected.

She added that she had been involved in court proceedings in Lagos and Abuja, with some cases still ongoing.

Fola said her dispute was not about getting her former husband back, but about her dignity, her children’s welfare and seeking justice.

“You may be able to tell your side of the story, but I also have a story to tell. You cannot erase my experiences by presenting yourself as the only victim,” she wrote.

She maintained that she had evidence to support her account and vowed to continue pursuing the matter through the law.

“I stand by my words, I stand for my children, and I believe that justice will prevail,” she added.
